The BBC is under pressure about it's handling of the scandal surrounding Huw Edwards. In particular, the corporation has faced criticism for the amount the presenter was paid while suspended, and the fact he will receive a generous pension despite pleading guilty to having indecent images of children.  
 
It is now reported that the Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy, is investigating whether Mr Edwards' pension could be recovered. 
Ian spoke to the Mail Online about employers' obligations while an employee is under criminal investigation, when employers can and cannot stop paying a wage, and the rules around recovering pension payments.
