On 28th March, Ian is speaking at a fundraiser for Endometriosis UK Birmingham and Black Country support group. He'll be talking about endometriosis and disability discrimination, and how workplaces can adjust to support employees with endometriosis.
The event also features talks from nutritionist Dr Sophie Lester and breathwork coach Shalina Litt, as well as a raffle to raise money for the group. It's a great chance to learn (for yourself or to support others) while helping a good cause.

Endometriosis affects one in ten women between puberty and menopause. It occurs when cells similar to the ones in the lining of the womb (uterus) are found elsewhere in the body - most commonly the lining of the pelvis (peritoneum), the ovaries and other pelvic organs like the bowel or bladder. Less commonly, endometriosis can also be found outside the pelvis, such as in the chest.
Symptoms include pain, heavy periods, fatigue and difficulty getting pregnant. While symptoms vary, they can be severe and debilitating, and so may amount to a disability.
If you can't attend but would like to support the group, you can make a donation.
