Spencer Shaw has been Lexcel Accredited for 2021, following our annual assessment.
Lexcel is the Law Society's legal practice quality mark, promoting excellence in client service and practice management.
Following a review of structure and strategy, financial management, risk management, client care, and file and case management, feedback from the assessor was that "Spencer Shaw Solicitors are one of the best Lexcel-compliant law practices in the country, meeting all of the Lexcel accreditation requirements."
The report continued to praise Spencer Shaw Solicitors "very high standards," as the firm "has continued to exceed the basic requirements of the Lexcel standard." Our procedures for managing cases and files were described as "excellent".

We were particularly proud that our dedication to excellent customer service was recognised, with the report noting "All employees demonstrated a commitment to providing excellent client care."
With regards to the unique challenges of the past year, the report recognised that "The firm is 'very technically advanced' and have the appropriate legal technology systems in place to support the critical business functions during the COVID-19 situation."
