Linda Lambert 

Linda joined Spencer Shaw Solicitors in 2020 to manage accounts, billing, and general compliance with the SRA’s Accounts rules. 

 

She gained a B Com in Accounting from Birmingham University and has worked in banking and as an auditor before specialising in solicitors’ accounts for the past 30+ years. Her career has included lecturing the SRA Accounts rules (since 2006) and she also tutors a course for legal finance professionals. Linda has a wealth of knowledge and experience in solicitors accounts and has helped with the continuing updating of internal procedures, to take into account the SRA Accounts Rules 2019. 

 

In 2020 Linda was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of Institute of Legal Finance and Management (ILFM), the highest accolade the Institute can bestow. 

 

Linda also volunteers her time as an accountant for Verge, a crafting charity focussed on providing friendship and support in rural areas. 

 

When Linda has down time she enjoys quilting and cooking - including her famous lemon drizzle cake.
