We are looking for an experienced legal secretary/assistant to join our friendly team
of employment law specialists. We are a modern, paper-light firm which means that you must be able to work confidently with online systems, such as Microsoft 365. Some of our team work remotely and you will often need to communicate with them using Microsoft Teams.
Your responsibilities and duties will be to:
Provide support to fee earners, including:
file management e.g. opening, closing and general management
ensuring file compliance with Lexcel and regulatory standards
document management, including assisting in the production of bundles
production of correspondence, including audio typing
management of meetings
consult with Counsel, Courts and tribunals and other third parties
Ensure new enquiries are responded to promptly and directed to the most appropriate person.
Assist with the effective running of the firm’s office e.g. maintain stationery levels.
Other duties commensurate with the role.

communicates confidently with people and wants to help,
is very competent working with computer software, especially with MS OneDrive, MS Word and Adobe
has knowledge and experience of employment law and tribunals for the role,
is able to get it right first time, most of the time, and
gets on with the rest of the team.
