Meet our Principal Solicitor Ian Jones

Ian recently featured on Simply Law Jobs sharing his advice for aspiring solicitors and discussing why he founded Spencer Shaw Solicitors.
Ian qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and went on to roles as Partner and Head of Litigation before founding Spencer Shaw Solicitors in 2007. He enjoys working in law because it gives him chance to work with people and to help them find closure and justice after sometimes upsetting issues.
Ian set up Spencer Shaw Solicitors as he felt there was a need for legal advice in simple, clear terms. Spencer Shaw Solicitors remains committed to providing prompt advice in plain English.
As Principal solicitor, Ian oversees all of our work and so gets plenty of variety. He feels that the key qualities for a good solicitor are enthusiasm, determination, passion and the ability to listen.
