Reduced rates on Coronavirus Employment Law Advice
Posted on 27th April 2020
Spencer Shaw Solicitors is reducing its rates on initial Employment Law Advice relating to Coronavirus by 30% to help other businesses through the current difficulties.
Businesses in all sectors have been affected by enforced closures, advice to self-isolate or a sudden adjustment to working from home. The government are rapidly introducing new measures to support businesses and workers who have been affected, and the rate of change may be difficult for many people to keep up with.
Ian Jones, Principal Solicitor said “Coronavirus has had a huge impact on a lot of businesses, which was unforeseeable just a few months ago. It has impacted businesses in different ways. Some will need to update their policies because their entire workforce works from home, while others will be worrying about lay-offs and redundancies, or struggling with new statutory sick pay and furlough measures. The rate of change is unprecedented, and it is important for businesses to seek legal advice so that they don’t make mistakes that could leave them open to claims later on.”
Neal Atwell, Director of Business Development, said “As an SME ourselves, we appreciate that a lot of businesses are finding this time increasingly difficult, and we want to do what we can to help. Cashflow is already a worry for some business owners, so finding the resources for employment advice may feel like an added stress. We’re hoping that offering reduced rates will be one less thing for our clients to worry about."
Spencer Shaw Solicitors is offering all advice remotely via telephone or video call. The reduced rate will apply to the first three hours of advice.
