On 5th October, Ian gave his latest seminar at Business Network Birmingham to an audience of local business owners and senior decision makers.

Ian's seminar focussed on the most common pitfalls that lead to discrimination claims including misunderstanding the Equality Act and who it protects, positive action, dealing with conflicting rights, and knowing when banter becomes harassment. He gave his top tips to help employers avoid making the same mistakes.

The audience found the session "Very thought provoking and interesting," and an "Interesting topic which is clearly a minefield for employers, so a very useful insight."
